About Dr. Ev’s Oasis

I’m Evelyn, a licensed psychotherapist. I love what I do and I love my clients! I offer soul-centered therapy for humans going through grief, loss, or major life changes. Together, we’ll honor where you’ve been and gently reconnect you with your true Self. My goal is to support you in creating a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and meaningful.

What makes my approach different is the way I blend traditional therapy with a soul-centered perspective. I believe healing isn’t just about coping—it’s also about rediscovering your inner strength, wisdom, and purpose. Whether you’re grieving a loved one, navigating a major transition, or renewing who you are in this next chapter of life, I walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity.

My work is especially focused on those limbo moments—times when old identities or roles are shifting, and you’re not quite sure who you’re becoming yet. We’ll create space for you to grieve what’s been lost while also opening up to what’s possible.

Philosophy

I believe that every person is inherently good, and that the way we live our lives makes sense in the context of our experiences. Nothing happens by accident—our circumstances, challenges, and relationships are here for us to learn, grow, and expand. From a larger soul-centered perspective, each of us, before coming into this life, has agreed to certain experiences and challenges to support our growth. My work helps humans move from a place of feeling stuck or disempowered to one of empowerment, recognizing that we are not punished by life’s difficulties, but that each challenge carries its own gifts.

At the same time, I honor the depth of human emotion. In the context of grief or when pain feels overwhelming, I don’t rush the process or push for lessons too soon. I create a space where your feelings can exist fully and be honored.

Every person I meet is a unique spark of creation, and therapy with me is treated as a soul-to-soul encounter. While I bring my training, experience, and knowledge, the process is shaped by what unfolds in the session and by our inner guidance. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to honor your past, embrace your present, and step into a life that feels authentic, purposeful, and meaningful.

Who Are My Clients?

I work with adults exclusively through remote sessions, supporting those navigating life transitions, personal growth, and emotional challenges. This includes adults facing midlife changes, adjusting to new roles, experiencing aging transitions, and facing their own mortality.

I also work with people exploring spiritual, metaphysical, or existential questions, and those rethinking their personal, relational, or professional identity.

Many clients come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, directionless, confused, or carrying unresolved loss. I help those seeking deeper self-understanding and alignment with their true selves.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds, orientations, and life experiences, creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space for growth and healing.

What You Can Expect

Through our work together, you can expect to experience meaningful growth, insight, and transformation. Many clients have shared that over time they’ve learned, expanded, and evolved in ways they never imagined—sometimes noticing profound “aha” moments that shift how they see themselves and their lives. Those who actively engage in the process often find themselves becoming unrecognizable in the best way—more aligned with their authentic selves, lighter, excited, empowered, and grounded.

My client companions frequently share feeling freer to express their truth, releasing old judgments and suppressed parts of themselves. They experience less anger and resentment toward their lives and relationships, gaining clarity and understanding about why challenges arise. By reconnecting with their inner guidance and seeing their experiences from a larger perspective, clients move toward a life that feels purposeful, meaningful, and fully their own.

My Therapy Style

When you come into session with me, it’s not going to feel like some stiff “therapist-client” process. It’s just two humans and souls meeting. I keep it real — relaxed, honest, sometimes light, sometimes deep — whatever the moment calls for. I see every encounter with each person as meaningful and purposeful.

My companions often tell me they feel comfortable and safe with me, like they can show up however they are — messy, quiet, joyful, angry, swearing, laughing, crying — it’s all embraced. I’m gentle when that’s what’s needed, and I’ll also be straightforward and challenge you if it feels like the right time. And sometimes I use curse words :-)

At the core, I don’t see you as a problem to be fixed. I focus on your strengths and gifts, on hope, and on the possibility for growth and expansion that’s already in you. My task is to hold space for all of it — the pain, the hope, the becoming — and to walk alongside you while you figure out what’s next for you.
