Welcome to your OASIS!
I’m Evelyn, and I’m a licensed psychotherapist. When I do this work, my heart sparkles! I love being with people through life’s breaking-open moments. Yes, it can be rough, and yes, it is absolutely rewarding! I created this space, the “Oasis,” as a place where you can take a deep breath and be with all the stuff that’s hard to express to yourself and others, especially when it comes to death and mortality. There’s no pressure, no judgment, and no outside noise.
I work with adults who are facing fear of death and existential anxiety, asking big questions about reality, purpose, and meaning. I honor your personal reality, your perspectives, and your current readiness to explore and redefine. Healing isn’t just about surviving the fear — it’s about connecting with your inner wisdom, exploring possibilities, and living with presence and aliveness. With every session, I’m right there paddling alongside you.
My Philosophy
Fear of death and existential anxiety are part of being human. Whether we notice it or not, fear and anxiety often live quietly in the background of our lives. When we avoid them, they tend to run the show. When we face them honestly, it becomes an opportunity — for growth, strength, and real choice.
Nobody is broken or flawed. There is strength, wisdom, and an inner compass already within our hearts. My role isn’t to fix anyone — it’s to help humans to reconnect with what they already have.
When we bring fear into the open, its power over us dissipates. We gain clarity. We feel more alive. We become more in tune with The Flow of life rather than running away or resisting. And from there, hope, presence, and real empowerment naturally grow.
Who Are My Clients?
Over the years, I have welcomed a wide range of humans who’ve struggled with fear of death and existential anxiety. These are just a few examples:
High-functioning adults who seem fine on the outside but feel unsettled or anxious underneath.
People integrating near-death or other life-changing, spiritually transformative experiences (NDEs & STEs).
Deep thinkers who feel intensely and have a hard time turning their minds off (including highly sensitive people).
Adults questioning or stepping away from long-held beliefs or religion.
Adults struggling with aging anxiety or feeling like time is running out.
Adult children facing a parent’s aging or death.
My Therapy Style
When we meet, it’s not a stiff “therapist-client” process. It’s just two humans—and two souls—connecting. Sessions are real, relaxed, and honest: sometimes light, sometimes deep, and yes, sometimes even silly. Even when we’re diving into heavy topics, laughter and silliness can happen.
No session is ever the same or predictable. I don’t force a structure, but I can help guide it if that’s what you want. I share personal experiences when they’re potentially helpful, and many clients have told me how empowering and hopeful it is to hear some parts of my walked path, especially when it comes to death, existential dread, grief, and transformation.
Like I mentioned, I don’t see you as a problem to fix. I focus on your strengths, your gifts, your wisdom, and the hope and growth already inside you. You can show up however you are—messy, quiet, joyful, excited, angry, laughing, crying. If you feel compelled to cuss, go ahead! I do that often :-)
What You Can Expect
The work we do together depends on your openness to face life’s big questions and the fears that come with them. Clients who fully invest in themselves often notice a shift—they stop letting fear of death or existential anxiety run the show, feel steadier, and connect more deeply with their lives.
You might move from feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain to feeling more present, alive, and confident in your choices. You’ll discover the wisdom already inside you and learn to trust yourself again, even when life feels fragile or unpredictable.
Fear and uncertainty might show up, but you can face it with courage and still live fully, present, and free!
